Welcome to Il Leone - Tuscan Products ...

Il Leone – Toscana is a small company based in the beautiful heart of southern Tuscany in the Renaissance town of Montepulciano and at the Thermal Spa Village of Bagno Vignoni.

Since 1999 we have opened holiday apartments, a restaurant ‘Osteria del Leone’, and two shops which specialise in Arte della Tavola and delicatessen food; wine, hand crafted knives and other products.

In the last 4 years we have searched for small and individual quality producers in our local and regional area for our restaurant and shops

Having worked and established a relationship based on continuous quality we have carefully selected several producers that we believe are of a superior level and excellent value for money.

These products include wines, extra virgin olive oils, balsamic vinegars and foods such as cheese, biscuits, pasta and vegetables preserved in olive oil.

Some of the products are from other regions of Italy such as the vegetables in extra virgin olive oil, pasta, saffron, rice etc. All these products we use and serve to our customers in our restaurant, or sell on our shop shelves.



An 800 year old Franciscan Monastery, which has been restored & converted into spacious villas, cottages & apartments. Most of the accommodations have open fireplaces & are fully furnished with a touch of Tuscan décor.
